GO Campaign x The Abrams Artist Agency

Supporting Loving Hands

In February, Adam Bold, Chairman of The Abrams Artist Agency, named GO Campaign as their official charitable partner for 2019 at their firm-wide retreat at Terranea Resort.

Abrams is jumping right in by providing funding to Loving Hands, an organization that provides support and aid to grieving families with an emphasis on parents who have lost children to gang violence in Los Angeles.

Every year before Mother’s Day, GO Local Hero Kathy Wooten hosts a brunch for women who have lost their children to gang violence. This is an opportunity for mothers to receive support from other similarly situated mothers who understand their pain as well as an opportunity to celebrate and remember their sons & daughters. Each year, Kathy presents a special basket to each mom attending.

Standing in solidarity with Kathy and the families supported by Loving Hands, The Abrams Artist Agency is purchasing and assembling 50 Mother’s Day baskets to be gifted by GO Local Hero Kathy Wooten for her annual Mother’s Day brunch. These baskets will be presented to grieving mothers in her program.

In addition to these baskets, Abrams is raising funds to support Loving Hand’s mission, and Adam is generously matching donations dollar for dollar any funds raised to support Kathy’s important work.

Donate now and make twice the impact!

Kathy Wooten

Founder of Loving Hands and  GO Campaign Local Hero

After two sons were murdered months apart in gang-related violence, Kathy turned her grief into action and started Loving Hands, an organization dedicated to providing support and aid to grieving families who’ve lost their children to gang violence and trauma in Los Angeles. Kathy is committed to working to end violence in Watts and other neighborhoods of South LA as she’s determined to prevent more mothers from experiencing the loss that she has. GO Campaign works with Kathy to help support, empower and provide a safe space for youth in Watts.
