Campus Water Project

Results: Interim Report

This grant supports the completion of a water tank project on the Siddhartha School campus. The mission of the Siddhartha School is to provide modern and culturally relevant education for the Tibetan children in this rural Himalayan community. Funds will be used to support the reservoir completion and campus piping to the school washrooms, kitchen, and plantation. Siddhartha School has reported that the hygiene, health, and success of the children have improved since they finished the piping to the campus. There is less dust on campus too because the staff is able to properly irrigate all the plants and trees. When the entire project is completed, the school will have additional washrooms and indoor plumbing.
