Education for Indigenous Youth

Results: Final Report

This grant supported the Willka T’ika Children’s Fund and their efforts to improve the lives of Quechua youth living in remote villages in the Peruvian Andes because these youth have limited access to the world beyond their community. Grant funds supported life skills workshops for Quechua girls, provided internet access and school supplies to students at the Huama Community School, and provided tutoring to high school seniors to assist in their preparation for their graduate exit exam. GO is happy to continue to support efforts to improve the lives of these Quechuan youth.
