Thanks to the support of the GO community, Cambodian Health Committee was able to provide educational and health outreach and services for HIV infected and affected children at Svay Rieng Referral Hospital and the Kampong Trach Referral Hospital in the Kampot Province. The mission of Cambodia Health Committee is to deliver medical, nutritional, social, and educational care to vulnerable and HIV-infected children. Funds helped provide school uniforms and supplies as well as medical treatment and services to 890 children overall. CHC reported that they exceeded expectations, serving many more children and their families than they had planned for. Children were able to attend school regularly and resume a normal school life. They felt they had better security and care because of CHC’s support and services.
