School Poultry Farm
GO Campaign supported Johnson Nkosi Memorial Primary School in its mission to promote quality education and sustainability in its community. Grant funds will be used used to expand its existing poultry farm and turn it into a small income-generating chicken eggs business. Profits help pay for some of the school’s operating and programming costs, including classroom materials like books and school uniforms. The school does not turn away any students for lack of income, so tuition fees are on a sliding scale. The ultimate goal is to be a sustainably-funded school that is open to all children in the community, so that these children may learn well and lead successful lives.
