Kilimahewa Go-Green Campaign

TANZANIA

Kilimahewa Modern Secondary School is working to transition from unreliable grid electricity to a sustainable solar energy system. This solar installation would provide consistent power for vital operations—including:

  • Two water pumps

  • Classroom and dormitory lighting

  • Laptops, projectors, and printers

  • Administrative equipment

Frequent power outages currently interrupt learning, limit access to clean water, and drive up operational costs. A solar solution would not only ensure reliable electricity and reduce expenses but also position the school as a leader in renewable energy—offering students and the surrounding community a powerful example of environmental responsibility in action.
