Transparency – We believe our donors have a right to know how their money is spent and we work closely with our partner organization/local heroes to follow each dollar so we can report back to you. Efficiency – With a small, efficient staff, we’re able to cut through the red tape typical of larger organizations. We’re nimble and in constant communication with our local partners so we can act quickly to time-sensitive resource needs. Our trusted partners – we closely vet each of our partners to ensure our criteria are met, and we continue working closely together throughout our granting cycle with continual monitoring, reporting and site visits. We know their capacity, we know the children being served, and we know exactly how your money is being spent. Most importantly, we listen. We never go into a community and tell them what is best for their children – we listen to the experts on the ground and work with them to address the unique needs of their community.

Yes. For all online donations, an email confirmation for your tax purposes will be sent as soon as your contribution is processed in our system. Donations of $250 or greater made by phone or direct mail will receive acknowledgement by mail or email. Acknowledgement letters are available upon request for any phone or check donation of less than $250.

Ask your company’s Human Resource department for a matching gift form and send it to us along with your donation or a copy of your receipt.
