The GO Gala is when we celebrate the year’s transformational stories and breathe life into the dreams of a new generation of youth and local leaders.

This year, we are honored to celebrate the Wrexham AFC Foundation and its founders Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds. The Foundation uses the power of football to positively change the lives of children and young people.

  • The GO Gala is GO Campaign’s annual fundraising event, bringing together philanthropists, celebrities, and changemakers for an inspiring evening of entertainment and impact. 100% of net proceeds support GO Campaign’s work with vulnerable children in the U.S. and around the world. 

  • The 2025 GO Gala will take place on Friday, October 17, 2025 at The Maybourne Beverly Hills in Los Angeles, California. 

  • Cocktail attire is recommended. Come dressed to celebrate and feel comfortable dancing, mingling, and enjoying the evening. 

  • We are honoring Rob Mac and Ryan Reynolds for their extraordinary commitment to community impact through their work with Wrexham AFC and the AFC Wrexham Foundation. Their leadership has gone far beyond the football pitch—they’ve used their platform to uplift a town, invest in youth, and champion grassroots change. Their passion, generosity, and belief in the power of local action align perfectly with GO Campaign’s mission to support Local Heroes creating meaningful change around the world. 

  • The AFC Wrexham Foundation is the charitable arm of Wrexham AFC, focused on using the power of sport to create positive change in the local community. It delivers programs that promote health, well-being, education, and inclusion, aiming to improve lives and provide opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds in Wrexham and the surrounding areas. 

  • The evening typically includes a cocktail reception, seated dinner, live entertainment, powerful storytelling, and a live auction to benefit GO Campaign. Full event details will be shared with ticket holders in advance. 

  • Tickets and tables can be purchased here. Sponsorship packages are also available for individuals or companies looking to make a greater impact.
