Food Program (Feeding Families in Watts During Covid)

In 2020, GO Campaign provided 70 children and their families with food and groceries for four weeks at Watts Community Core. The youth are participants in the boxing program and each each family will receive a weekly delivery of chicken, potatoes, vegetables, milk, rice, eggs, and pinto beans.

Founded by Local Heroes Tanya Dorsey, Hank Henderson, Kevin Hunt, and Donny Joubert, Watts Community Core works to ensure that all the youth in Nickerson Gardens have the opportunity to realize their dreams.

GO Campaign fund provided food for 190 families for April-June as well as provided household supplies to meet their basis needs.
